Tourmalinated Quartz crystal sterling silver necklace

A one-of-a-kind tourmalinated quartz crystal, set in sterling silver on an 18-inch chain. Tourmalinated quartz is one of those stones I find myself reaching for again and again — clear quartz threaded through with fine black tourmaline needles, two minerals that formed together and stayed. The result is a stone that's graphic and quiet at the same time, the black lines moving through the clarity of the quartz in a way that's impossible to replicate.

As always, each stone is energetically cleared and infused with Reiki light before it leaves my studio.

Tourmalinated quartz forms when black tourmaline crystals grow within clear quartz during the stone's formation, creating a permanent inclusion that's as much a part of the stone as the quartz itself.
