FAQ

What metals do you work in?

We work in recycled sterling silver, 10K, 14K and 18K gold.

Some of our past designs are in 18K gold vermeil and 14K gold filled. We are retiring all of those designs in 2026.

We don't work in brass, bronze, or copper. Amanda is allergic to them, so they aren't a part of her collection.

Can you customize a piece?

Yes! We do customization all the time. Do you want a different size, a different metal, a different length, a different clasp, a different stone. Send us a message and let's chat.

When will my order ship?

Ready to ship jewelry ships within a few days of placing your order.

Most made to order jewelry ships within 1-2 weeks. The shipping time is listed on individual listings.

Custom orders have longer turn around times determined by the project.

If you want your order sooner or by a specific date just send us a message and we'll let you know if it's possible.

How will my order ship?

We offer free domestic shipping for orders over $50.

Free shipping is USPS ground.

For orders $200 or more we'll ship USPS priority mail.

You can choose other shipping options at checkout.

Any jewelry care recommendations?

Yes of course we want your AKL jewelry to last for years to come.

Ring sizing help

We can make rings in any size from a 2-14. Use the ring sizing guide and measure your finger as a few different times and days to get an average. Ring sizing can be tricky because our fingers change size with heat, what we eat, or other things.

Do you do custom orders?

Yes Amanda loves working on custom orders. Just head the custom jewelry page to learn more and start the conversation.

Custom order costs start at $250.

What's your return policy?

All of our jewelry is handmade to order, so we do not accept returns, but we are always happy to exchange for something else. 

If you are unhappy with your purchase, for any reason just contact us within 3 days of receiving your item to exchange and send it back within 7 days.

Please choose your item carefully and ask any questions you have before purchasing. We are happy to send you photos or videos of stone options before we ship to avoid any issues.

We can resize rings and do other repairs. Just contact us for information and pricing. All extra shipping charges will be paid by the customer. Custom orders cannot be returned or exchanged
