I was so excited to find this batch of Herkimer diamonds to create rings with. Despite the name, they're not actually diamonds, but a rare variety of doubly terminated quartz found in Herkimer County, New York. The natural clarity and brilliance of the stone is extraordinary considering it forms that way without any cutting or polishing.

About Herkimer Diamond
Herkimer diamonds are a rare variety of quartz, naturally double-terminated, meaning they form with a point at both ends rather than just one. Long associated with clarity, attunement, and a heightened sense of awareness, they're often used in meditation and dream work, and are considered amplifiers of energy and intention.

The Story Behind the Collection

The Stone Love Collection is the result of twenty plus years spent sourcing beautiful stones — one of Amanda's first loves in jewelry making, and still one of her favorite parts of the process. Each piece in this collection is chosen for the stone first, then built around it, letting the gem's color and story lead the design.
