I created these heart charms as talismans, to be worn as a reminder to keep an open heart. Even when our hearts have been broken in unimaginable ways, that heartbreak is still a reminder of the love we're capable of. I truly believe that if more of us moved through the world with open hearts, we'd see real shifts, both in the world and in our daily lives.
These little hearts are a reminder of the love within and around us, and I hope they bring the wearer a little more of that every time they're worn. Rumi's poetry has long reminded me that we carry more love within us than we usually give ourselves credit for, and that idea is really at the heart of this piece.
About Rhodolite Garnet
Rhodolite is a rose to violet-red variety of garnet, the birthstone for January, long associated with vitality, passion, and grounding. It's a stone connected to the earth, often described as both supportive and protective, steady underfoot while it stirs something more energetic within. It's also tied to kundalini energy, the idea of a dormant inner power that can stir into awareness, whether that shows up as a quiet shift in perspective or something more physical.
The Story Behind the Collection
The Stone Love Collection is the result of twenty plus years spent sourcing beautiful stones — one of Amanda's first loves in jewelry making, and still one of her favorite parts of the process. Each piece in this collection is chosen for the stone first, then built around it, letting the gem's color and story lead the design.
