This band started as a custom piece for a client's wedding, chosen for the ginkgo's meaning of endurance and longevity. I loved it enough to bring it into the shop for everyone after. Ginkgo leaves wrap around the band, with a sweet little emerald set among them, simple and quiet, the kind of detail you notice slowly rather than all at once.
About Ginkgo Leaf
The ginkgo tree has figured prominently in Asian art for centuries — ancient Chinese artists often depicted the Buddha's Dragon Tree as a ginkgo. It's long been a symbol of longevity, since the tree can live for a thousand years, and of endurance: four ginkgos survived the bombing of Hiroshima and are still growing today.
