The first Super Seven stone I ever worked with caught my eye at a gem show fifteen years ago. I couldn't believe a stone made of seven different minerals, all formed together by the earth, actually existed. I've been drawn to it ever since.
About Super Seven
Sometimes called Melody's Stone or Sacred Seven, this crystal comes from the Espírito Santo region of Brazil, formed from seven minerals in one: amethyst, cacoxenite, goethite, clear quartz, lepidocrocite, smoky quartz, and rutile. It's one of the few crystals said to never need cleansing, and it's long been considered remarkable for holding two things at once: a deep sense of grounding, and a feeling of being tapped into something larger than ourselves. It's also been called a stone of universal humanity, associated with the bonds between people and a quiet sense of connection to one another.
The Story Behind the Collection
The Aislinn Collection was imagined and designed from my love of the different inclusions found in quartz stones from around the world, made with stones I've collected over many years. The stones I work with remind me of magical gardens and worlds, so I named the collection Aislinn, a name of Irish origin meaning vision or dream — it felt like the perfect fit for these dreamlike designs.
