A Utah Trip to Zion and Bryce Canyon National Park

A Utah Trip to Zion and Bryce Canyon National Park

Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks have been on my road trip list for years, and this year I finally made it. Ben and I had so much fun hiking and driving through Utah. This trip was definitely one that added more places we want to visit to our list.

We only had a day and a half in Bryce Canyon but we got to do a beautiful sunrise hike and it snowed! The Navajo Loop and Queens Garden trail was a short but beautiful trail. If you are short on time like we were I would definitely recommend this hike!
We stayed at the Happy Trails Inn and loved the location.
We had dinner at The Pizza Place and it was a great local spot.
We picked up breakfast and coffee and did the short hike up the Zion Canyon Overlook Trail to catch the sunset. Getting up before the sun was a great way to avoid the crowds at Zion.
We got to see big horn sheep!
We skipped the Angels Landing hike and did the Scout Lookout Trail instead and views were beautiful and it was much less crowded.
Another favorite hike we did was the Petroglyph Pools!
There's a fun speakeasy called Cowboys and Angels in the back of a coffee shop we stopped at before going out to do some star gazing that had great cocktails!
We made a few fun stops along the road trip too. We saw more Petroglyphs.
Plus the Zzyzx oasis was a really fun stop.
