Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks have been on my road trip list for years, and this year I finally made it. Ben and I had so much fun hiking and driving through Utah. This trip was definitely one that added more places we want to visit to our list.
We only had a day and a half in Bryce Canyon but we got to do a beautiful sunrise hike and it snowed! The
Navajo Loop and Queens Garden trail was a short but beautiful trail. If you are short on time like we were I would definitely recommend this hike!
We picked up breakfast and coffee and did the short hike up the
Zion Canyon Overlook Trail to catch the sunset. Getting up before the sun was a great way to avoid the crowds at Zion.
We got to see big horn sheep!
We skipped the Angels Landing hike and did the
Scout Lookout Trail instead and views were beautiful and it was much less crowded.
There's a fun speakeasy called
Cowboys and Angels in the back of a coffee shop we stopped at before going out to do some star gazing that had great cocktails!
We made a few fun stops along the road trip too. We saw more Petroglyphs.
