Exploring Tuscon outside of the gem show

This year I was in Tuscon for longer so I got to get out and check out more around the city, which was so much fun.

Last year when I came I really wanted to go for a hike but just didn't have time. So this year I got to go to Pima Canyon. The view of the city was beautiful and the saguaro cacti were absolutely amazing. We were hoping to see some of the Bighorn sheep on the trail but we didn't have any luck with that this time.

A few weeks ago I had the chance to spend a couple of days in Palm Springs and finally had the chance to do a short hike. It's usually too hot when we go but it was cooler so it was the perfect time to check out the Tahquitz Canyon waterfall and trail.

I'm back from an amazing trip up the California Coast

This is my third trip up the beautiful coast of California and I always come back so inspired. 

This year I went on some amazing hikes, kayaked with more otters, sea lions and seals than I could count, saw gorgeous sunsets from a balcony overlooking the marina on Shelter Island, ate lots of delicious food and was even treated to a rainbow for my birthday.
